Here's a chance to experience the bird-song of an English country garden at its best. Put on your headphones, close your eyes and enjoy two and a half minutes of the dawn chorus in digital stereo, recorded by Tony Hadland in the heart of England at daybreak on 1st May 2000. To download the dawn chorus, click here. It's quite a big file, so could take about 10 minutes if you are on dial-up, depending on your modem and phone line speeds. But it's worth it for the therapeutic effect!
