Dawn Chorus 2000

Here's a chance to experience the bird-song of an English country garden at its best. Put on your headphones, close your eyes and enjoy two and a half minutes of the dawn chorus in digital stereo, recorded by Tony Hadland in the heart of England at daybreak on 1st May 2000. You probably already have the necessary Real Player on your PC, but if not, you can download 'Real Player 8 Basic' free by clicking here.

To download the dawn chorus, click here. It's quite a big file, so could take about 10 minutes if you are on dial-up, depending on your modem and phone line speeds. But it's worth it for the therapeutic effect!
